Henri Schildt (born 1977, Finland) obtained his D.Sc. degree in the field of strategic management from the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland, in 2007. Prior to his current appointment at Aalto University, Schildt worked as Assistant Professor at Imperial College London, UK, in 2007-2010, and at the Hanken School of Economics, Finland, in 2010-2012.
Dr. Schildt has published research broadly on various management topics, including technology strategy, acquisitions, entrepreneurship, organizational change, institutional work, and bibliometric analysis. His current research projects investigate the emergence of new industries, new forms of collaboration in the pharmaceuticals industry, and the management of strategic change. He is also currently working on a book on managerial reasoning.
By the decision of the President of Aalto University on March 5, 2012,Henri Schildt, D.Sc., has been appointed to the tenure track position of Associate Professor in Strategy in the Department of Management and International Business at the Aalto University School of Business and in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Aalto University School of Science.
